Catalina PBY 3-blade propeller collection

Since 3-blade props are not too easy to get, I started to print the sizes I wanted to test.
And what should I say… this worked out so well, that I've decided to share, but be aware: 
 

This is for advanced users and has been tested only with the rather moderate drive-setups of the Catalina. If overpowered, I am pretty sure it is possible to get them to burst, so use at your own risk!

Apart from that I've never managed to break even my worst prints in normal use.

• Print from PLA
• 0.15mm QUALITY settings or use varable layer height. 
• Supports need to be on ("snug" settings in PS worked very well for me)

After printig remove the supports very carefully and try not to loose the sensible lines from the first few layers when doing. 
Now stabilize every blades trailing edge from the bottom side with a strip of adhesive tape and use medium CA glue on the front side to close gaps and reassemble lost lines, then cure with CA accelorator. 
Remove tapes and treat the top sides with CA as well. 
When cured use sanding paper to smoothen the faces and reshape the contour.  

I strongly recommend balancing the props before use and it is a good idea to start balancing before you've finished sanding, so you can see wich parts will need some more attention.
