Description
Monkey fist shaped keychain looking like an object made of paracord. The monkey fist is hollow. Diameter 42 mm (1.65 inches). This is an easy print. The monkey fist comes in two parts which must be glued together. There is a 4 mm hole to fix a string.
This is an improved design. There are two insets for two pins which make sure that the two parts of the monkey fist align perfectly.

Notes:
No supports required. Just do not go crazy fast to print the fine details nicely. I have chosen a maximum of 70 mm/s.

Print "Monkey fist keychain V1.stl" twice.
Print "Monkey fist pin V1.stl" twice.
You can print everything in one go as shown on the pictures.
The pins should fit well into the insets. They make the alignment of the two halves easy.

Add a knot to a sling of string as shown on the picture. Add plenty of glue to the knot to prevent the knot from opening once it is within the monkey fist.

Glue the two pins into the holes. Put the prepared string sling into the first half of the monkey fist. The string mus be positioned at the hole.

Put glue on the other half of the monkey fist as well. Do not forget to put glue into the holes of the two pins. Glue both halves together. Make sure that the string sits nicely in the hole. Secure the assembly e. g. with a rubber band till the glue is hard.
