Peugeot Expert Traveller seat bar tailpiece

Seat bar tailpiece for Peugeot Expert Traveller, Citroen Spacetourer and Toyota Proace.

The original broke fairly easily.  To remove the bar from under the seat, it is necessary to apply adequate force (the bar is springy) and to remove the bar in at least two steps (first just from the round housing on one side into the space next to it, then directly out on the other side). Original casting is quite well attached to the iron bar. Remove it with pliers, a knife or even a saw. The replacement has got dimples that slides into the bend of the bar so it doesn't spin.

Inserting the rod back in is then done with the spring in the reverse order.

I only broke the end cap on one side. But I'll try to sculpt the other side eventually.
