Description
I recently picked up miniature painting again and got bored shaking all the paint bottles by hand after standing around for a while.
Since I didn't want to wait for the vortex mixer I ordered (which performs better..) I very quickly drew up a simple mixer using a few components I had already,
Hints:
Materials needed besides the print
Screws:
m2 for mounting servo horn,
there is also a knob in the back to which you can screw (directly into the plastic) a small pcb, such as an m5stamp-c3 that controls the servo (really,a tester is less work ;)
m3 for screwing the servo to the servo mount.
the screw that connects the mount and stand is a 1/4-20 UNC screw, which is the same that's used on consumer cameras and their tripods, as the one I ended up using (got it from Ali-e) is quite long I also printed a spacer for the screw. for the servo-mount bottom, you will need a 1/4 -20 insert.
Support needed:
I was able to print everything except the bottle holder without supports, for the bottle holder: print bed only tree supports.
What's next?
If I continue to use this i'll probably look into
