GripX/GripX2 HSC dial for Grip2

Don't have the money to upgrade your Grip2 equipped Fox36/38 to the new GripX / GripX2 damper?

I got you!

This model allows you to upgrade your Grip2 HSC dial to the new version!

My print settings:

• PLA (use any filament/colour you like!)
• 0.1mm layer height
• Simple supports, manually placed on the flat bottom parts of both the dial

Grip2 dial assembly:

When disassembling the original Grip2 dials, beware of the small sprung ball bearings.

1. Loosen the retaining bolt for the damper dials and carefully remove them.
2. Remove them and the underlying springs using a small needle or nail, don't lose them!
3. Transplant the springs into the corresponding holes in the model.
4. Using a screw driver or similar pack the springs/holes with plenty of grease, this is needed to ‘stick’ the ball bearings into the holes for installation.
5. Insert the bearings and carefully place the LSC/HSC stack into the bike. Rotate until the dials bottom out on the damper.
