Festool Cleantec Customizable Tool Adapters

Three FreeCAD design files are available for download. The design files can be used to change the model’s dimensions via the spreadsheet within the model file. If dimensions are changed within the spreadsheet, the model will update to reflect the changes. The spreadsheet data entry cells labeled in red will change the adapter dimensions to suit different tool outlet port sizes. Note: If the model crashes when changing a dimension, try entering small (incremental) changes to the dimension until you reach the required dimension.

The three FreeCAD files available for download are:

• Cleantec_Adapter_to_Rectangular.FCStd
  • To make either rectangular or square female adapter ends.
• Cleantec_Adapter_to_Round_Small.FCStd
  • To make round male adapter ends with an outer diameter of 32mm or less.
• Cleantec_Adapter_to_Round_Large.FCStd
  • To make round male adapter ends with an outer diameter of 32mm to 44mm.
    • Note: The program may take awhile to process dimension changes for this model.

  • Note: The 3D print in third link is not just a round port. Additional modifications were made to adapt it to the sander connection point.
