Description
Inspired by several similar tools, I wanted to create my own, using laser cut acrylic. Works with any break-away, single row, 2.54mm male header pins, regardless of length, even right-angle headers.
Inspiration:
The whole thing took only a few minutes to design in Fusion360, even less to cut and assemble.
The three pieces are assembled together using M2 screws. I screwed them in from the bottom so that I could use this with even right-angle headers.
I'm sure it could be 3D printed, but I haven't tried it, and you might need to adjust the dimensions to suit your printer's tolerance.
I've included DXF files for laser cutting, STL files for 3D printing (although I haven't extruded/embossed the marks or numbers), and the Fusion360 file. The f3d file is parameterized, so hopefully adjusting for tolerance should be easy.
