This is a hidden screw-in wall clip for an Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2, including parts for the sensor and round magnet.
Design features
- Minimalist clamp holds the sensor and/or magnet in place instead of the built-in adhesive.
- Chamfered edges for easier handling and comfort.
- Screw slot will accommodate North American standard #6 or #8 countersunk wood screws.
- The screw is hidden from view when the sensor is in the clip.
Printing instructions
- Print the .stl as-oriented (on its side)
Installation instructions
Tip: Test the location first to make sure the magnet will trigger the sensor before making holes in your wall or doors!
- Screw the clip in
- Gently place the sensor into the clip (the edges will spring slightly during insertion).
Notes
- I designed this model in OpenSCAD and it's mostly parameterized. If you'd like a simple modification (i.e., outer body size, screw size, etc.), send me a message and I'll see what I can do.
