Description

I was plowing the snow the other day and noticed that my boots were slipping off the pedals a little bit from all the ice and snow. So I thought, "Those pedals sure would be nice if they had better grip!" So here it is, a simple snap on and off knurled pedal cover. You only need to print the one model. It works for both forward and reverse on my 1025r (just flip it around). This pedal may fit other models, but I can't confirm that. The inside dimensions for the cover are 85mm x 47mm. (the size of my 1025r pedals) But the cover is designed to snap onto the back of the 1025r pedal in two distinct locations. So other models may not work out.... Enjoy!

FlashForge

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.100 is what I used.

Infill:

65% is what I used.

Notes:

Ran this with PLA @220c, full cooling after the 3rd layer, and I positioned it so that all the teeth were facing the cooling fan for the best resolution. You will need to run supports for the time being for the upper over-hang on the back of the cover, and that's all. You do not need to run any supports for anything else if you run good cooling and .100 micron layers. My first printed cover snapped onto my pedal easy as butter. If you try to run this at higher than .100 microns, I can't guarantee how well the pyramid knurling will turn out. They are quite small, and printed nicely at .100 microns.
