Description
I kept finding myself in a situation where I had to mount and level scopes on rifles. Since I do not shoot from a bench rest or any other type of system other than sandbags and backpacks… I decided to draw this up. It has fit every rifle I have tried so far and allows you to maintain a desired side to side angle with respect to the centerline of the action while you adjust the scope.
I would glue the nuts in place so you don't get a little bit of wobble in the system due to clearance of the slot vs dimensions of the nut.
Nut and bolt dimensions not critical, but they were sized with a 3/8" nut and bolt in mind. Any nut around 15mm (or smaller) flat to flat and a height of 9mm (or smaller) will work. Yes, I know I just mixed units.
Print PETG or better so it won't melt in your car like mine did :)
Supports optional for the base nut slots.
