Escher was an artist intrigued by geometric patterns and visual tricks. This radially infinitely repeating pattern is based on one of his drawings. It is build up of individual pieces and has a total diameter of 42cm.

The number of parts needed of each shape is listed in the description of each model's downloads page. The individual pieces aren't very large, they are printable on a standard machine. The black pieces get inserted into the bodies, so no multi-color printing is needed! Everything is also printable without supports.
