Description
Backpack module for 5" FPV quadcopters.
Please do verify the dimensions of your quadcopter:
backpack is 20mm high. Check that your frame has at least this height.
mounting points are separated by 24mm (measured center-to-center)
mounting points are 4mm wide and hexagonal (will also fit round standoffs)
If you need other dimensions, let me know and I'll see what I can do :-)
This backpack has place for:
an SMA connector (for your VTX antenna).
a T-antenna (e.g. ELRS or Crossfire).
a 15x15x5,2mm GPS module (e.g. M100 mini)
The GPS and video SMA connector are slanted 25° backward.
Optional space for an XT60E-male connector (depending on backpack version)
The stuff I mounted on my quad with the backpack (for inspiration):
Apex 5" frame
The MMCX to SMA cable that comes with the Speedybee TX800 VTX
HGLRC m100 mini GPS
Radiomaster RP1 T-antenna (ELRS)
XT60E-male connector
Two m2.5 bolts to attach the XT60E-male
Should be printed in TPU (I used Fiberology Fiberflex 40D).
Regarding the use of support material:
the standard version does not need supports
The version with XT60E (which I think is much cooler) unfortunately needs support
Mounting all the hardware (especially the GPS which really should be inserted first) will require a bit of a fight with the TPU and the cables. Let me know who won :-)
