Description

A special feature of this stand card is the absence of mechanical hinges. They are replaced by a composite of two types of plastic. This allowed us to achieve the minimum thickness and print time (30 minutes).
The stand is convenient to carry with you - it is foldable and as flat as possible. And also a small one - the size of a credit card.

The stand allows you to adjust the angle of your smartphone and place it vertically or horizontally. Suitable for various models up to 11 mm thick. And even in a protective case.

I made two designs - one without a logo and one with a picture (I made a logo for the Squid Game invitation, but it may be different).

On layer change, I replace rigid PETG with flexible TPEE, and then vice versa. This creates a simple hinge that can be printed in place. Both of these plastics are good at sintering and printing at the same temperature (I only slowed down the speed for TPEE a little, but this is not necessary).
No support required. Printing requires two changes of filament - from PETG to TPE after the first layer and vice versa after the second. Everything is printed 0.3 mm thick, the first layer is 0.2 mm.
Don't forget to remove the automatic filament loading - for flexible plastics this can end up tangling in the extruder.

Alternatively, you can use printing with one semi-rigid plastic of the SBS type (it will withstand at least several dozen folds).

You can print entirely from PETG, but it will not be durable for a long time in the place of bends.

All pauses have already been created in the 3mf file, and the model is positioned so that the bridges are perpendicular to the break.

I have a few smartphone models, but this should work with most. Write how it works with your model.

Update. Added a file for thick smartphones or devices with a case. It is possible to use with a total thickness of up to 15-16 mm.

Look at my new project - an ultra-thin bookmark for books and at the same time a phone stand
