Baddeley B2V2 Hat Detail Stamp

The Baddeley B2V2 hat features a circular imprint on the top panel that mirrors the detail from the live action droid and marks the placement of a projector greeblie that is held in place with a magnet on the underside of the hat.

For additional accuracy, I applied a skim coat of 2-part body filler to all the body panels to reproduce the textured effect of Bee's surface.

Rather than try to skim coat around this detail, I decided to simply apply my skim coat over the entire top surface of the hat, then use this “stamp” tool to precisely reproduce this imprint detail while the body filler was still pliable.

Simply align the printed stamp in the correct corner of the hat and gently press into the body filler, then remove and let the body filler completely cure.
