COVID-19 "Sweden" Visor (Bulk Print Remix)

Summary

This is a remix from the great "Swedish" face shield 3D-PRINTED PROTECTIVE VISOR by 3DVERKSTAN.

Two main benefits:

• Bulk print friendly (x3, x4 at a time)

• Small printer friendly (eg. Makerbot/Flashforge) This remix splits the model into 3 pieces and adds joints. This design doesn't change overall dimensions of the visor, so the plastic sheet can be attached exactly same way as the original.

  Models (North America 6-hole version)

  Please print these. Please use PETG. ABS has known difficulties due to shrinking.

  Notes for further remixes

  I've uploaded Fusion360 native files including the joint (PushJoint).
  Basically you need to make a hole that is 10.1 mm x 10 mm.

  1. Import their original STL file and convert to BRep, then scale to 0.1. Delete redundant triangle surfaces for faster processing. Derive it to another for enabling timeline. Use this derived model as the starting point.
  2. Make a 10 mm x 10 mm hole on the frame body, eg. left side.
  3. Split the frame by using the left edge of the hole.
  4. Lower the left edge surface down for 0.1mm. Ths will create a joint reference (lazy way!).
  5. Joint the male/female joints onto the frame by targeting the bottom center of both corresponding surfaces. Please refer to each frame files for details.
