Hey there, i made this tool holder cause i noticed that you have to be very precise with the letters not to smash your hand. I work in a locksmith with my grandfather and we mark every key we copy with the letter “R” in order to ensure that key was copied in our store. As you can imagine i smashed my hand more than just once and that is why i wanted to create this model. I also made some other guides because this tools require extreme precision and a lot of years of practice if you want to achive perfect results. There are two types of guides, a free guide that lets you punch letters in a horizontal line, and a 10 space guide wich is more efective but for short words.

Here is the assembly guide:

(You can notice where did i take the pictures from :D )

Fine, with this steps you are ready to use your letter punch, now you need 4mm letters and numbers and a M8x50 bolt. In the next picture you can see how to install the free guide and how to use it.

When adjusting the M3x10 bolt you can slide the free guide to achieve the height you need for the type of letters you have and the material you are using. Here is an example of how to use it:

The free guide allows you move the tool horizontaly along the piece you are engraving:

This 10 space guide has holes if you want to screw it and can also be mounted with some clamps on it.

Do notice that i used fuzzy skin on just the handle, if you have a Mk3s+ i made gcodes for all the pieces. If you dont want to put fuzzy skin for the extra grip it also has a sort of grip modeled:

Thats all ! If you have any questions fell free to ask, i will be glad to answer. Happy printing!
