About project:

Smaller, more compact version of 4020 fan mount. Places 4020 fan flush with extruder motor and has additional beam for structural support.

Models differ in hole diameter - 3.8mm for heatset and 3mm for selftap.

Needed parts:

• 4020 / 4010 Fan 24v
• JST 1,25mm female connector (optional)
• 4x M3 Heatset inserts (optional)
• 4x M3x25mm or M3x15mm bolts - either for 4020 or 4010 fan
• 3x M3x5mm bolts

Assembly:

To connect fan you can either reuse old fan JST connector or use a new one, note that polarity on gantry's PCB is reversed. Red wire is ground and black wire is 24v.
