22mm Sports Watchband flex

Durable and comfortable sports watchband designed to fit the standard 22mm mounting size.

I needed a sports watchband for my Samsung galaxy smartwatch since the original leather band was not suitable for swimming and other water or sweat related activities. 

After some iterations i ended up with this open hexagonal design which is comfortably stretchy and flexible for more reliable heart rate monitoring and doesn't retain water due to the big holes.

Tested extensively and still good as new after several months of frequent pool swimming and sauna. Your mileage may wary though depending on the material used. Mine is printed with Overture Generic Black TPU - https://overture3d.com/products/overture-tpu-filament-1-75mm

Note:

Latch hardware not included. I just used the original metal hardware from my Galaxy watch leather band and those fit perfectly.

Printing instructions:

• no supports needed
• use a textured print surface for a cleaner looking band outside surface
• 0.1-0.15mm layer height recommended
• use a specific profile for flexible materials to reduce stringing
• Strings on the outside surfaces can also be reduce by printing only one object at a time or sequentially instead of parallel
• Rest of the stringing is easy to remove by burning it with a lighter.
