Description
We left/lost our favorite metal one cup measuring cup for dog food while on vacation. I had been trying to cut back on some of the food as our dog is getting older and less active, she is gaining some weight.
I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to do several things:
As it turned out, this cup was exactly one cup measure (within reasonable subjective evaluation). And, when I reduced the print by 10%, the volume shrunk from 8 ounces to 6 ounces. I now use the gray scoop (6 ounces) and fully fill it up and know that I am never up to the full 8 ounces. I printed this cup at a 5% reduction and it is just shy of 1 ounce less than the original 8 ounce size.
The original size is easy to hold and the handle is robust. Print without any support. The “Larger Handle” model is comfortable to use, still prints without supports and adapts well to reducing the size of the cup. The “original” size handle gets noticeably smaller when reducing.
