8 Port Air Raid Siren

Ever wanted to annoy your neighbors? How about your whole neighborhood? Well this is it! This little siren is dumb loud. Its a nice little 8 port siren that screams loud enough to make you question your life choices and wonder if its even legal! (it probably isn't lol)

 

To build it, you'll need some grabber screws, ½" long or 13mm, and 1/8" diameter or 3.175mm, some super glue, and a XD-3420 motor with the retaining nut and cross hole as shown in the pictures. 
Print 8 of the horns, and just one of everything else.

for assembly:

Step 1: install the motor into the stator. 

Step 2: put a crosspin of some sort (i used a small piece of a coat hangar) into the motor shaft, then push the rotor on making sure to line up the pin with the slot in the rotor. screw on the nut to the shaft and just snug it up a bit. remember that it will crush the print if you tighten it too much. 

Step 3: test the siren really quick! once we glue the next part on, we can't replace anything. 

Step 4: glue on the mount.

Step 5: screw on all the horns

Step 6: screw on the stand 

All done! You're now ready to make huge amounts of noise!
