Magnetic Wargaming Hex Tiles

I saw some magnetic tiles a while ago, and thought having a reconfigurable map  is pretty cool, at the time the magnets I had didn't fit any of the tiles I cold find, so I made my own. 

these work with magnets in size: 

they where designed with 5x2mm magnets in mind, but I also did use 3x3mm which are easily available at ali-e in the same slots, and while they are a bit weak, it kinda worked - but ultimately i made some for 3x3mm magnets too (as I bought a significant number of those). 5x2mm tiles can snap to 3x3mm ones - but future tiles will be likely released with 3x3mm.


future plans:
I might add a few more specialised tiles later (I want something that can be used for forests, I want some tiles that have different height level (probably the size of multiple tiles) and maybe some bridge-tiles too.. let me know any ideas you might have.

Hints:

• top and bottom are friction fit, I use a pair of pliers to get them closed
