Description
Smaller top for the FlashForge 5M Adventure 3D Printer.
I always thought the “stock” top on the printed enclosure to be a bit too big… I made mine ½ the size… and still fit everything.
I also made a smaller Drag Chain extruder end… to sit lower.
Hope you like it!
The connectors are built in. I recommend printing at an angle with tree supports in PETG.
I provided the all-in-one file if you want to slice them up yourself with pegs instead.. or into different sizes.
I recommend scuffing the ends before superglueing them.

UPDATE: June 13, 2024
I made a new face plate… this one doesn't use magnets and extended the right sight slightly because of a small gap with the side rail…. It fits very well now with just some double-sided sticky tape. I also changed the lettering slightly to have it print better… not as deep so no supports get prompted.

Display Lock:
This is obviously a work in progress. I had a few things to improve.
The display mount… I noticed the display can be knocked to the right and even knocked off the mount if hit… so I…. I made a Display Lock.
The lock was made to fit AFTER the fact, so you need to drill a hole into the top…
Drill a hole using the latch as a guide:
Put in a small M3 Brass Insert:
I used an M3*8 screw
It holds it fine… and leaves room for USB if needed.
NOTE:
I also used a modified drag chain mount…It has no overhead spool mount… It is NOT needed… but that is what I used. This mount uses cut-down version of the drag chain mount:

I also was inspired by Doug's Hot end mount: https://www.printables.com/model/785667-flashforge-adventurer-5m-ad5m-simpler-easier-faste/remixes
But I made my OWN version which rides lower to allow for a better position of the chain to not hit the lid… https://www.printables.com/model/858904-flashforge-adventurer-5m-ad5m-drag-chain-terminati
