Description
A modular stand for inexpensive, generic micropipettes.
I had to glue the left leg to the first holder, as it wasn't as snug as I wanted, but that's just due to the print orientation of the legs. The rest of the “blocks” holds perfectly onto each other.
I've made one 5 holders/units wide, with no sign of sagging or splitting under use.
If you want to make it wider, you might have to glue the pieces together - test and see what works for you!
Now with parts oriented properly!
You can fit and print both legs simultaneously on a Bambu Lab P1S bed, but if your print surface is under 231 mm across in the Y-axis you can print them one at a time at an angle.
These vendors' micropipettes should fit the stand, as they all look identical:
- JoanLab
- Vevor
- IntlLab
- Westtune
- OniLab
- Genever
- Ikeme
- JVLab
- LarkSci
- General no-names (from various Chinese websites)
- Probably heaps more; this design seems super generic.
If you want a more “finished” look, I have a non-modular model utilizing heat set inserts on my profile.
