Printing information
General information
This bust comes in three parts that need to be printed. I have included a version with the hat already attached which makes it two pieces, but I recommend the one with separate hat. Which to use is up to you though!
FDM printing information
This one does require some supports. Under the ears, and also to print the hat at an angle. Refer to the images below.
Resin printing information
For resin printers, Stilgar comes pre-supported (by Charro Zuck!) in three different sizes. 100% (printers the size of the Elegoo Jupiter), 80% (printers the size of the Elegoo Saturn), 60% (printers the size of the Elegoo Mars2).
You’ve got a couple of options:
- Lychee Slicer Lite (.lyt) files (what are LYT files?) – they’re pretty handy because you get to edit the supports to fit your needs before printing. This is the recommended option.
- The pre-supported and pre-hollowed .stl files. I’d be a bit cautious with these. If you’re using anti-aliasing it will apply this to the support connections and potentially weaken its structure, which can lead to print failure.
If you’re feeling adventurous, the regular STL files are there for you to slice and dice as you please.
