The V2 won't do for fencing tape that are effectively electrified,as the metal screws will be too close to the tape. But you can add insulated tape in between or use it to fit together 2 part of fencing tape.

It can be used for relay posts, for end of fence posts, to fit together 2 part of fencing tape.
