Description

đŸ—ș Traveler's Decoration par excellence 🌎

This model is a little different from what we usually do in MiniWorld3D. Instead of a landmark or famous building, this is part of a series of objects representing art & design of the world. Together, they decorate a themed room in a miniature mansion!

Something that cannot miss decorating the walls of a traveler is a world map!

Other objects in this series include:

You can find the full project here, the modular rooms mansion is designed by @skip_per07, main 3D prints and photography by @maisonlumiere_3d using Polymaker3D filaments, and this specific object and everything in the MiniWorld3D travel-themed room was designed by Dany SĂĄnchez. Other renowned designers have decorated other themed rooms!

MiniWorld3D is happy to bring this cultural model to life. This model was created from scratch by hand and brain in parametric software to ensure printability. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture!

Printing Tips

Suggested parameters:

No supports.

Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 15%

Input shaper ok

The map itself can be printed in colors by pausing-and-switching filaments, or all at once with MMU/AMS.
Assemble this onto the brown frame after.

Although the traditional colors are brown for the frame, blue for water and green for land, you can get creative with the color choices.

Scale in Z to increase or decrease layer heights to your liking.
