Prusa Mk3S/+ Improved Fan Shroud

This is a completely redesigned fan shroud for the Prusa i3 MK3S/+, which not only delivers fantastic airflow like the old Mk3 shroud did, but which also sits far away from the heatblock and will not melt when printing at high temperatures.

To orient this part flat on your print bed, rotate it by 47 degrees, or use the “lay flat” tool in your slicer. 

ASA is the recommended material for this part. I used Prusament Orange ASA. 

When installing this fan shroud, make sure to push up on the blower fan and shroud before tightening the screws: this ensures that the blower and shroud will not collide with the bed or the parts being printed. You will probably need longer screws to install this fan shroud: I used 25mm long M3 screws. 

UPDATE February 13, 2022 - Added a "thicker" version for strength and greater temperature stability. 

UPDATE August 26, 2022 - Added a smaller V2 to help avoid the PINDA probe. 

UPDATE Jan 25, 2023 - Added a rotated version of V2 which lays flat on your print bed.
