Easy Ceiling Moon Lamp Project

I always wanted to have a moonlight lamp hanging on my ceiling but most projects here on printables either use discontinued IKEA things like lamps or chords or involve mounting the lamp on a base instead of hanging on the ceiling.

In an effort to make your life easier, I decided to upload what I think is the easiest method to have a bright and beautiful Moon Lamp hanging on your ceiling. 

1. To start with, you have to print the moon itself, so I include the model that I found on Thingiverse. It fits on any regular 3D printer bed as the model is 197.76 x 196.29 x 187.60 mm;
2. Buy this chord from IKEA: https://www.ikea.com/pt/en/p/skaftet-cord-set-textile-nickel-plated-70466364/#content;
3. The chord has 2 metal parts on one end. Unscrew the one farthest from the chord and leave the threaded part of it exposed. Do not screw the lamp yet.
4. Follow the instructions provided on the IKEA Skaftet manual and fix it on your ceiling;
5. Screw an E27 lamp with a maximum diameter of 30mm like these ones: https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/4001286410321.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.41.79d0caa4wgGUj0&gatewayAdapt=glo2bra
6. Screw the exposed part of the chord to the lamp;
7. Turn on the lights and get amazed by what you did!!

IMPORTANT: DO NOT SCALE the model as it will not allow you to connect the chord to the moon.
