…I didn't get through all the improvements I wanted to, but I did make the latching mechanism more robust than the original--I had an itch to play with compliant/spring mechanisms and I think this fixes one of the weaker points of the original even though it is now printed in two parts.

The original design used debossed lettering and a couple filament changes to easily achieve a ‘cool’ effect.

I encourage you to make your own creative/custom designs and share back to the community. For the most part, you can do this text/graphic debossing with most slicers nowadays. Favorite sports teams, vehicle trims, animals, logos… I respectfully/humbly ask for no political trash :)

If you need more inspiration than the original, look to Etsy & eBay where dozens of rip-offs and reskins are being sold without attribution and without sharing back to the community :)
