Description
I made these lids because I like to record my bike trips using a powerbank and sometimes I have to do it under rain. This camera has a combined USB and MicroSD lid which is very bad if you are going to use the camera under rain with a USB cable connected: your MicroSD card becomes absolutely uncovered. My solution is not waterproof but it's better than nothing.
Print settings: 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, no support.
The inner lid holds firmly without glue. The installation is NOT as the original one! First push the bottom lock, then push the upper lock! To remove it, put your nail into the upper gap and pull it towards you.
The outer lid has no locks. You decide either to glue it or use some scotch tape as a temporary solution. Basically it can hold on the cable only, but water resistance may be weak in this case. I recommend any non-CA glue that can be removed later with some effort if needed.
The hole is designed for the thickest USB cable that I have. If you have a thinner cable, you can try “smaller hole” version to improve water resistance.
2026-06-13 UPDATE:
+ Added "NO HOLE" version as requested.
+ Fixed a little bug that printed an extra stuff where it was not needed (it could be easily removed with a knife though).
Personally I did not test V2 as I'm satisfied with the old one, so if any problems with it, feel free to report.
