This is a base for the new Sunlu S2 filament dryer (2023 version with included fan) that allows for you to redirect the included fan to purge air out of the chamber at a variable rate. The model allows for you to directly swap out the fan duct to control how much air you want recirculated and purged in 25% increments. There is also a sliding fan duct that allows for more precise control.

In order to provide additional strength, you can place the standard Creality spool holder underneath the base.

You will need some fairly long (25 mm) m3 bolts to attach the new base onto the housing, there are 4 mounting holes included however you will need to drill into the housing to use the outer two.

The blower fan can be mounted using the existing screws, but it may be better to use adhesive pads to lower vibration and noise.

This model may work with the older S2 (no fan) but you will need to source an appropriate 24V 4040 blower fan yourself.

I cut the bottom heater slightly and drilled a 4mm hole at 45 degrees to fit a Bowden tube, this seems to work well.
