Description
An insect hotel that is supposed to be placed at the border of the garden. "The dome" can be attached with a screw to a garden fence, a tree or something similar, the dome does not require fixing, but it can also be placed on top of a structure, the ground or, for example, a stone. Insects have access to the inside of the dome from several places, and entry and ventilation is not dependent on the installation method. Inside the dome there are hiding places of different shapes and sizes for insects.
The dome can be printed with a printer with a print area of at least 80x80x40 mm. When printing, it is recommended to use 100% infill. There is no need for support structures. About 30 grams of material is used for 100% infill. I also don't recommend using a raft, because removing it is tedious and using it is not necessary. It is recommended to use PLA as the printing material, due to the material's environmental friendliness. For reference, the printing time with, for example, the Ender 3 (KE) printer is about 2 hours.
