Description
Print it, nail or screw it to something (6mm hole x3), roll up some leaves, and fill the spaces. Repeat as many polymer links as you like. The segments link together but for curved surfaces you can just leave them unlinked.
Chitin is a sugar-based bio-polymer (plastic) which has superior biodegradability when compared to modern plastics such as PLA. Chitin is mostly responsible for the toughness and resilience of insect exoskeletons, as well as many marine creatures, as well as many extinct species of Cambrian arthropods. The oldest known chitin was discovered in a 25 million year old beetle encased in amber.
