Zipper Slider Jig

A jig to hold a zipper slide while threading bulk zipper tape through the slide.

There are two options, with and without a weighted base.

Fusion 360 file included for your convenience.  Note: the weight cavity and weight filling hole extrusions are suppressed.  Right-click those extrusions in the timeline and un-suppress if you want them enabled.

Assembly

• Weighted Base Option
  • Fill the weight chamber with #8 (2.3mm) steel or lead shot.
  • Seal the hole with epoxy.
  • Hint: Avoid using hot glue, it stays hot too long and can distort the PLA.
• Optionally, add some felt to the bottom.
