Description
My mother gave me her Ihagee Exakta II (also spelled Exacta) without a takeup spool. Nobody ever seen it for years.
I redesigned the spool from scratch using original dimensions as reference and simplified it. This design works best with multimaterial supports. I've attached H2D 3mf.
This thing works fine, but the base diameter was approximized and should be tuned. It would be a huge help if somebody with real spool would share the dimensions.
This is not an easy print. I used "cross" supports with 15% density "everywhere" and 0.15mm layer height. Oriented ith with flat side down.
You may need to run a bottom pin hole with 4mm drill bit.

v9: the last one i actually printed. It works but it is tricky to load film into the spool.
v12: all troubles with v9 are accounted for, but i didn't test it yet. Hard to make 36 shots with this monstrosity, you know...
My first attempt was before 3D printing with a lathe. However i quckly realized that the task requires a lot of trial an error and a slot for the film must be very complicated to hold it properly. So i started experimenting. I also tried to calculate a proper circle length for a 35mm frame and exacta's spool rotation. This calculation turned out to be spot on.
