Description
This duct replaces the current inlet for better distribution over the top pre-filters. The original duct is only 3" and concentrates all the fumes/exhaust in a very small area, overloading a single spot on the pre-filter. This duct makes use of the whole surface area of the pre-filter.
This needs a fairly large printer at roughly 350mm at the widest. It prints just fine without supports and 0.2mm layers (or bigger for faster prints). PLA is just fine for this, PETG would also work too.
The duct mounts using the existing mounting holes and screws for the original handles. You will need to cut out the center section, a jigsaw works well for this. In the files section there's a DXF for the cutout. Adding a bit of foam around the edge will help create a better seal. Check the video for more information.
