Description
This is an archery scope sun shade that can be install on the front or rear of a CR Apex 3D Scope Housing seen here: https://lancasterarchery.com/products/cr-apex-3d-scope-housing
Images include two prints. One is made with Inland PLA+ in Black and the other is made with Inland PETG. At the time they were initially sliced with the Creality Slicer, but I have since transitioned to the Cura slicer with better results.
Sunshades are incredibly difficult to find currently. Hopefully this will help archers new to the sport have an opportunity to save some money.
Printer Brand:
Creality
Printer:
Ender-3 S1
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.12
Infill:
30%
Filament: Inland PETG Black
Notes:
This was initially prototyped in PLA, but I strongly advise this be printed in PETG for actual use on a bow outdoors.
Recommend printing on a "smooth" bed of your choosing. This will ensure the texture does not interfere with the threads.Left: PLA / Right: PETG
