Description
I needed a way to mount some string lights on my deck. I purchased two sets of poles from Amazon, but the way they are intended to be mounted did not work for me, so I made these parts to help.
I printed with PETG on a Prusa MK3.5 and a 0.8mm nozzle. I used five perimeters and an infill of 50% for strength.
The hole through the deck handrail is 1.25 inches in diameter and is designed to be offset 10mm from the inside surface of the handrail supports; the center of the hole should be 25.6mm from any support below the rail. I secured the bottom bracket with four standard decking screws.
