Description
I installed this cheap chinese sensor in my swiming pool: pH-W18 Yieryi-Tuya Smart WiFi, PH ORP, TDS, EC SALT S
My pool water circuit is in 5cm diameter. I used a support collar (see picture) with a ¾ inch thread. Then I printed the probe holders. To make it water tight you need to buy some o-ring.
My design is optimized to minimize the contact between my printed parts and the water. Basicaly my printed part push the probe in the o-ring.
However I prefed printing in ASA and I did an acetone straightening using an old rice cooker. Basicaly you print in ASA, then put some acetone in the rice cooker, your printed parts in the steam basket and start the heating process. You can find some tuto online.
This way you eliminate the porous aspect of the printed parts making it water tight.
It may not be necessary, please tell me if you try.
I publish it on request. I'm not sure many people will be interested, so the description is basic. Please ask if you need more details.
