Description
This fits Chamonix 8"x8" lens board cameras and adapts them down to Sinar sized lens boards. You'll want to print one copy of sinar.stl and four copies of toggle.stl. You'll also need 8xM3x4x5mm heat set inserts. Install the eight threaded inserts into the eight holes on the front of the adapter, and use them to attach the toggles as shown in the photos. I use M3x8 screws with a tiny dab of loctite for the pivots and thumb screws in the curved slots to lock the toggles down after installing the lens.
The Sinar lens board should fit nicely into the opening in the middle of the adapter, then just pivot the toggles in over the front of the lens board and tighten them down. I printed a prototype in ASA that seems like it would probably be fine, but I printed my final copy in PET-CF to make sure it's really bulletproof for big petzval lenses.
