I have uploaded a PDF with step by step instructions. I will create an assembly video in the future and upload it to my YouTube Channel. http://youtube.com/@w1rcp
# Per Assy    Short Description
2 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Magnets 6mm x 2mm
4 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â M3x8 screw
2 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â M3x12 screw
1 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â M3x4 Set Screw (or grind down a screw)
3 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â M3 solder tab
6 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â M3 nut
2 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â hookup wire ~2" each
2 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 3x8x4mm bearing
1 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 3D Printed Kit
1 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Stereo (TRS) plug wiring
All of these parts can be found on Amazon. UXCELL for screws, washers, and bearings, SHARPENTY for the 3mm nuts, AUTOHAUX for the solder tabs, TRYMAG for the magnets, I used CAT5 cable for the wires, and the audio cable I stole from an old computer.
The expensive part is buying all of these items! On my website http://w1rcp.com I sell kits for this reason. I buy in bulk and repackage them for each kit.Â
You can print the parts in PLA, but don't leave it where it gets hot or even warm because the parts will warp. I print mine using PETG, and so far I haven't had any trouble with leaving PETG in the Jeep as long as it stays out of the sun.
