Description
Most any machine tools need a thin layer of oil to make sure they don't rust. Problem is, this attracts dust so I designed a case specifically for the modular ER32 collet holders. I've included the Fusion 360 file - All you need is to change the parameters by how many rows and columns you've got your collet holders arranged in.
I've also included the base STL files for 6x3 and 3x3 configurations if you don't want to mess with it in Fusion.
The top lid has the description on it and is a multi part STL - if you can do multi colour printing it's a nice touch. Just place the STL in the centre of your slicer's build plate and split it to objects. If you don't want the writing on the case, print the STL's as is, or just omit the assembly with the letters to have an embossed description.
Holes for attaching the collet holders to the case are 4.5mm - ideal for tapping M5 and using M5x10 button head cap screws. I've included optional feet for the back; so drill the two back holes out to 5mm and use M5x16 button head cap screws for fastening the rear holders and tap into the feet.
The hinges for the lid uses M3x20 socket or button head cap screws, they can just tap into the corresponding 2.5mm hole in the lid.
