Star Trek: DS9 PADD Variants v2

Here's my version of the larger size PADDs from Deep Space Nine. They varied a ton between episodes and scenes, so there are a range of options to choose from if you're looking for a specific style to replicate a screen prop. 

Update log

November 6 2024 - Added more graphics that are fitted for the new v2 displays. Will add more as I go. 

November 3 2024 - Added extended connectors that should reach better when using the spacer. 

October 29 2024 - V2 Update - Added new medical back with detailing, made all of the black stripes wrap around the sides to look more accurate, and enhanced each variant with a changeable display. I still need to add graphics formatted to fit the new slides but it shouldn't be hard to figure out on your own. 

Model notes

Spacer - The middle layer spacer part is optional but recommended. It gives it the ‘sandwich' look of the TNG PADDs, just thinner.

Graphics - I've been working on the graphics as PDFs for much better quality and they are based on the media found on Adge's LCARS site. 

For paper size they are in A4 standard so for US Letter just make sure to have your print settings for scale at actual size/original size/100% and it should work fine. Many 2D printer apps auto-adjust the scale of printouts so check that first and do a draft print using black ink to avoid wasting color. The graphics themselves are exactly the same size as the panels they go in, so you will need to trim just right to get the corners to fit. 

There are tons of other excellent LCARS you can get from Adge's site on your own, but they are mp4 videos so you might have to get creative to get good screen captures.

Filaments used

Silver filament used was Ziro Diamond Silver PLA.
