Bambu X1 Build Plate Holder - Wall Mount - 5 to 20 Plates - Thin or Thick Plates (Lightyear G10)

I wanted a build plate holder for Bambu X1 plates (258x258mm) that is wall mountable.

I wanted it to be able to fit both thin plates (Bambu) and thick plates (Lightyear G10).

I wanted it to be able to store lots of plates (up to 20), and still be printable on the plates it stores.  This required a minimalist design that can hold plates without spanning a full edge.

I also wanted plates to be easy to remove, yet still secure so that plates don't slide out on accident.  To do this, the design holds plates in vertical orientation with center tab down.  The center tab slot prevents plates from sliding out unless a user lifts the plate by about 1cm. 

I have included versions at different sizes, including 5, 8, 10, 13, 16, and 20 build plates.  

I have also included Fusion 360 bodies you can use to make configurations of other sizes.

Mount on wall with standard drywall screws. 

Recommended print settings: 

• PLA 
• Orient screw hole side down.
• No supports.
• 0.2mm layer height
• 5 wall loops
• 5 top surface layers
• 5 bottom shell layers
• 15% infill (gyroid)
