Print-in-Place Magnetic Cable Clip

A Print-in-place hinged magnetic clip to keep your device cable handy!

Designed to hold (2) 6x2mm rare-earth neodymium magnets with a friction-fit.  Models are provided for 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm diameter cables.

When closed, securely holds the cable, but a gentle tug will open and release it. There's also a finger recess to make opening easier without pulling on the cable.

Print in PETG, ASA, or ABS if you're planning to use in the outdoors or a hot environment like a car.

I prefer 4+ perimeters, 40% cubic infill.  If you don't have a textured buildplate, changing your first layer infill pattern to Concentric, Archimedian Chords, or Octagram Spiral can add some visual interest.

Make sure the print has been given a good chance to cool before removing from the build plate, to limit the risk of introducing a bend in the clip, which can affect how well it closes.
