Description
Reuse a Dell P2317H monitor stand (or similar) with any VESA 100 capable monitor. You will have to remove the stand's plate's plastic covering - just remove all [very short] screws, remove plastic, then screw the plate back on.
It does work with the two different P2317H versions I have. It does not work with a P2422H stand because of the new ‘hump.' Otherwise, the dimensions of the plate seem the same so it should be an easy remix if you really want to.
Mounting is similar to the original Dell monitor:
I think it's best printed vertically-sideways[ish] so the load bearing surfaces' strength arn't as dependent on inter-layer adhesion. The bottom two screw holes are fully pass-through, but the top two screw holes are a little undersized to cut threads into it. Just hit it with a 4mm or 5/32" drill bit if you'd rather.
My .3mf printfile is uploaded if you also have a multi-tool XL. I printed the adapter in PETG (with PLA supports) hoping that if there is any part failure that it isn't as sudden. Might even be stronger if you print with a .3mm layer height and it'll save you ~3hrs.
Â
Might be fine printed flat with PLA - idk I'm not an engineer. Don't blame if it you break something.

There are also these metal Dell E-series stand to VESA plates for cheap but they don't lock the bottom tabs \_(ツ)_/
