Painting/Canvas hook/hanger for rail system

I ordered some canvases with photos of my NYC vacation, the price was really nice and I absolutely love how they came out. But adding some hooks to the canvas would cost me way to much compared to the canvas (up to 1/3). Also, reviews showed me the hooks are of bad quality.

So, long story short, I made my own hooks! Estimated costs 15 cents all-in ;)

I used a Duraline rail system for paintings. They come with some bulky hooks which tend to add space between the canvas and the wall. My design tries to compensate for that. I like the rails since you can move the canvases around without drilling additional holes.

The hooks are really sturdy, you need only one screw, you can align them afterwards and the Duraline hook fits perfectly. It does not move or come off when you move the canvas around.

Used PETG, all default settings, including 20% infill.

Post-Printing

1. Mark the middle of the frame

2. Screw down the hook close to the middle - I used 3.0 x 16 mm screws
   Try not to touch the canvas while using the screwdriver. If possible, try and 'bend' the frame a little bit (top to bottom) to give the canvas itself some space.

   How I Designed This

   Made these in OnShape, took me 15 minutes to create them. After a test run I decided to make a slimmer version with one screw. Uses even less material, prints faster, and just as solid.
