Description

I have made this nice suggestion box for my workplace, that I want to share here today.

It features a “falling” door design, that is kept in place with the top cover, so when it's time to empty, the door can open up so the notes can be easily gathered.

Its fully printable, with only screws for wall mounting needed, but it can also just stand on a table.

The tabs for the door, would need to be superglued or some alternative to be working reliably.

The door is blank, so you can add your own text and or logo on it in the slicer or a program like fusion 360.

-----------------------------------------------

**Quick instruction on how to assemble**

When all parts are printed, here's what to do.

  • Glue the small tabs in the bottom of the door, with the overhang face downward.
  • Glue the swing tabs in at the top, make sure the overhang is facing out from the door so it catches on the box wall when it opens.
  • On the top cover, place the small insert intro the opening from the top, this can also be glued if you like.
  • Slide the door intro the box, with the tabs inside, and but the top on. (Done for the box)

Wall mount

  • Screw in the top hole where you want it to hang.
  • The bottom “screw hole” can be rotated to make sure its level.
  • Screw the bottom screw in.
  • The box can now be placed on the small tabs sticking out of the wall mount.
  • Put the three pins in the tabs, from inside the box.
  • DONE!
