Description
This is a dry box for the Prusa XL offering a high ingress protection. It has very few parts, printable or not.
The printable parts can be made only on a high volume machine such as the Prusa XL. For my experiments I used 1kg of Prusament PETG Clear when printing at 0.32mm with 15% infill and organic support for some parts; you can see my settings in the 3mf files that I provide.
The non printable parts are:
Implemented in the OpenSCAD language (2021.1.0) and using the BOSL2 library (2.0.652). The sources are provided in a compressed archive in the files section.
For a more detailed discussion on sought characteristics, the parameters used, the bill of materials and the assembly, please see the PDF file int the files section.
Caveat: Given the actual dimensions you can install at most 2 dry boxes on a XL printer, on the left side of the printer; to install 2 other dry boxes on the right side of the printer, the filament exit should be moved to a mirror position. I'll work to provide a solution for both issues in a not so far future.
