Customizable Inserts for LR2052 Storage Box System

Introduction

This project provides customizable insert blanks specifically designed for the LR2052 Storage Box System. These inserts are purposefully kept simple, incorporating essential design features to ensure a seamless fit across a range of storage box models from the LR2052 series—including the 100C, 100D, 200C, 200D, 300C, and 300D.

Update 2024-05-18: Fixed wrong part number 1800 => 2800. The 3MF files may still display the wrong numbers in the object browser.

Design Details

Although the inserts are intentionally straightforward to accommodate custom designs, attention has been given to their compatibility with different revisions of LR2052 storage boxes. The inserts fit snugly, especially in revision C boxes, which feature a slightly larger label area than revision D, making insert removal a bit tight but manageable.

Usage Instructions

For CAD Users:

Start with the STEP files if you're using CAD software. Import the blank of your desired size and customize it by adding cuts or extrusions as needed.

The flat top surface of the blanks allows for easy adjustments in height, which is especially useful for accommodating taller objects.

For PrusaSlicer Users:

Utilize the PrusaSlicer software for modifying the inserts directly.

Printing Guidelines

The inserts are optimized for 3D printing in any orientation (top or bottom) without the need for supports. You might need to adjust the orientation based on your specific customizations.
